Our Work

In the golf world, TOUR pros dominate our television screens and smartphones, but how well do we really know them as individuals? This disconnect between athlete and viewer prevents a deeper fan experience. Srixon approached us in December 2015 to address this problem, tasking us to create a series of authentic videos featuring their young TOUR players like Harold Varner III, Keegan Bradley and J.B. Holmes on a more personal level.

During Srixon’s global photoshoot, CLICKON Studios sent a team of documentary filmmakers to the Florida wilderness with one goal in mind: show fans a different side of Srixon’s millennial athletes while maintaining their status as world-beating professionals. Working with The Golf Channel’s Martin Hall, we created 7 videos for Srixon's Journey To Better campaign in which the athletes talk candidly about their hopes and dreams for the 2016 season, revealing a side of their personality rarely caught on camera. Using a fly-on-the-wall cinematic style, we captured each player’s individual philosophy towards improving their game. Each athlete then shared the game-changing drills and tips they focus on for golfers around the world to learn from.

Vice Golf had a great product, they just needed a video that matched their hip brand to penetrate the crowded apparel and golf ball market. Vice Golf entrusted CLICKON Studios to create a native video for CLICKON Golf’s highly-engaged, always-connected millennial audience of 1.2M golfers across the US and UK. Using cutting-edge data software that links top trending topics on social media with the behavior of CLICKON Golf’s viewers, our creative team developed a powerful concept to place Vice Golf products front and center.

"Street Shot Series” premiered on November 8th, 2015 and earned over 250,000 views in its first week. By campaign end, the piece garnered over 300,000 views and 2 million+ impressions. Vice Golf received the brand lift they were looking for during the campaign and experienced a spike in traffic to their e-commerce site.

If you’re Microsoft and you’re about to launch the Surface 2 in one of the greatest cities in the world, you better make some noise. CLICKON Studios worked with UK agencies Channel 2020 and 3Monkeys to create a series of documentary videos on the Surface 2 launch. Who better to launch it than platinum selling artist Dizzee Rascal? Our creative solution was a behind-the-scenes experience of the launch event in the heart of London where Dizzee spectacularly revealed a super-sized version of the Microsoft Surface 2.

CLICKON Studios ensured that none of the action was scripted during the day, using a portable crew to literally follow Dizzee around the streets of London and capture his story. The videos created substantial brand lift for Microsoft, who leveraged the footage in their overall PR strategy and earned accolades from the European press for its authenticity.

Imagine designing an awesome golf club and winning $500,000 for it? That was all the inspiration CLICKON Studios needed to create a memorable piece of content to promote Wilson Golf’s "Driver vs. Driver" show to golfers in a captivating way.

The sports giant came to us seeking a better way to attract millennial applicants to their upcoming reality TV show on the Golf Channel. Our creative editorial team developed a custom native ad to garner awareness for the contest amongst the CLICKON Golf audience of 1.2 million golfers aged 18-34.

Putting our data and social listening tools to work, we identified key topics that would resonate with our audience. The ad produced a CTR of 8%, almost 7x the industry standard for native content. Applications to the Wilson contest increased by 322%. The resounding success created a new content partnership between CLICKON Golf and Wilson to create 3 additional pieces focused on their 2016 initiatives.
