In the golf world, TOUR pros dominate our television screens and smartphones, but how well do we really know them as individuals? This disconnect between athlete and viewer prevents a deeper fan experience. Srixon approached us in December 2015 to address this problem, tasking us to create a series of authentic videos featuring their young TOUR players like Harold Varner III, Keegan Bradley and J.B. Holmes on a more personal level.
During Srixon’s global photoshoot, CLICKON Studios sent a team of documentary filmmakers to the Florida wilderness with one goal in mind: show fans a different side of Srixon’s millennial athletes while maintaining their status as world-beating professionals. Working with The Golf Channel’s Martin Hall, we created 7 videos for Srixon's Journey To Better campaign in which the athletes talk candidly about their hopes and dreams for the 2016 season, revealing a side of their personality rarely caught on camera. Using a fly-on-the-wall cinematic style, we captured each player’s individual philosophy towards improving their game. Each athlete then shared the game-changing drills and tips they focus on for golfers around the world to learn from.
